Your position
As new Business Manager CCC (CORPUS Congress Centre), you will be responsible for expanding our client portfolio and achieving growth in the area of congresses and events.
You will develop and implement strategies to attract new customers and ensure the optimization of existing relationships.
You work closely with various departments within CORPUS as well as with the various clients. You are strategically hands-on involved in creating valuable events for clients in various sectors.
Your responsibilities
- Proactively recruit new partnerships and collaboration opportunities in the convention and event industry.
- Developing sales strategies and plans to increase market share.
- Maintaining intensive contact with potential and existing customers.
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients.
- Preparing and presenting custom quotes and presentations.
- Managing and monitoring budgets and commercial objectives.
- Tracking market trends and competitive analysis to identify opportunities.
- Identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities with existing customers.
- Reporting achieved results and progress to the Marketing Director and Manager CCC.
What we expect from you
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a commercial role, preferably in the event or conference industry.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully acquiring new business and managing customer relationships.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proactive, results-oriented and customer-oriented attitude.
- Creative in devising custom solutions for various client needs.
- Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail.
- A network within the event and convention industry is a plus.
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages both verbally and in writing.
- HBO or WO working and thinking level.
- In possession of driving license B
