Your position

As a driven and results-oriented sales professional with a passion for conferences and events, you will be responsible for driving commercial growth in the conferences and events sector. You will develop and implement strategies to attract new clients. You will play a hands-on, strategic role in creating valuable events for clients across various industries.  

 

Your responsibilities

  • Proactively acquiring new clients in the conference and events sector.
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to increase our market share.
  • Managing and monitoring commercial objectives.
  • Tracking market trends and competitive analysis to identify opportunities.
  • Preparing and presenting custom quotes and presentations.
  • Reporting on results achieved and progress to the Marketing Director and the Manager of the CORPUS Congress Centre.

 

What we expect from you

  • A proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused approach.
  • Creative in devising custom solutions for various client needs.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully acquiring new business and managing customer relationships.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail.
  • A network within the event and convention industry is a plus.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in a commercial role.
  • Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages both verbally and in writing.
  • Holds a Class B driver's license.
