Working in a unique location
At CORPUS "journey through the human body" is all about the wonders of the human body and how to take good care of it. The building with the giant seated human figure houses the "journey through the human body." In addition, CORPUS is also home to the CORPUS Congress Centre. Here we organize a variety of congresses, meetings and events for various clients.
What will you do?
As an all-round party manager, you will be pivotal in the preparation and execution of our events. Your duties include:
- Prepare meetings using worksheets and scripts.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in preparation.
- Coordinate set-up and take-down of events and schedule staff.
- Managing the hospitality team and vendors during events.
- Thinking along with F&B on the interpretation of catering arrangements during conferences.
- Be first point of contact for clients, guests and colleagues during execution.
- Oversee appearance, service, cleanliness and hygiene of all areas and the terrace.
- Process administrative tasks and evaluate events with the sales team.
What we ask:
- Trained in events, hospitality, hotel, travel or facilities management.
- Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience as a cooperative manager in an operational organization within the corporate hospitality industry.
- You breathe hospitality and radiate this to colleagues and clients.
- You are a good planner, organized, structured and you can coordinate well.
- You are flexible and realize that in this profession you have peaks and valleys in terms of workload.
- You dare to give feedback and coach colleagues.
- Preferably in possession of Social Hygiene and BHV Certificate.
